Before embarking upon his ministry, Chris Costa spent most of his life in the financial world, most recently as a financial advisor. In 2008, after 14 years, Chris gave away his business to start his dream of establishing Chris Costa Ministries (CCM) to reach out into the community with compassionate care towards “drowning” people. Chris was one of those drowning people when in1996, he met David Williams of Cru on the golf course, and had an amazing change. “We met for lunch the next day and David began to share how God loved me and that he had a plan for my life. Assuming he was a lunatic, I tried to disarm him and explained I already was a “Christian”, I served as an altar boy. Heck, we eat lamb at Easter time, Man!” Hoping he might recognize I was some type of noble saint and hopefully change the subject? David persisted, appreciating my response, he continued and explained that God desired to have a personal relationship with me, and that he wanted to help me through life’s challenges. Somehow the amazing grace in David’s explanation clicked and the light bulb went off. I finally got it! I gave my life to Christ that day in 1996 and since then I’ve never been the same.”
CCM is constructed around being available to help those in need. Chris is willing, and enthusiastic, able to encourage the partnership to tackle any problem with grace and truth. “Everyone I meet is an opportunity for a relationship. However, in order for the process to be effective, we have to understand that, “people don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
Chris leads weekly small groups with interactive discussions about life’s issues and practical solutions.
The process’ success requires you to be F.A.T.; Faithful - Available - Teachable. “If you want something you’ve never had, then you’ve got to do something you’ve never done.”
Born in Tulsa Oklahoma, Chris Costa is a first generation American, of Greek immigrants who came to the US to take advantage of opportunity and prosperity. “My Dad loved being an American citizen.”
Chris has lived in Greece and speaks Greek fluently. He loves to play golf and has been a fan from a very young age. He enjoys Country, Jazz, Rock and Blues and playing the drums. He and his wife and best friend Pam have been married for 24 years. They absolutely love their son, Nick, who is an “unbelievable world changer!” Chris exclaims, “We are so thankful for him. I now more fully understand how much God truly loves me.”

This genuine life changing journey has transformed my life and I owe it solely to my dear friend David Williams and my Pastors, Whit & Willie George.
My hope is to transfer that spirit and joyous love to those around me. As we continue together, helping create effective reproducing leaders.
